Getting nervous
So, the child I was hoping would definitely be EARLY, is not. (I'm really not surprised.) So, I'm still very much pregnant with occasional bouts of contractions that go for a few hours and stop like they were never happening. The ole Doc told me last Wednesday that if I haven't gone by this Wednesday we'd schedule to induce Thursday night. Most likely giving birth Friday.
The one thing that never occurred to me prior to now is the whole logistics of having a three year old while giving birth. Can't leave him home alone. Do not want R to abandon me to strickly watch the boy. Kinda want him close so he can be part of it, but not part of ALL of it. If we have R's mother watching the business Friday, (answering phones, opening at 8 and closing at 6), how is she going to pick up Tide from Daycare at 6? If I give birth before then, R can pick him up and bring him to see us in the Hospital. If I haven't I don't want him leaving...
How much is too much? How much time do we have Tide in the hospital around us? Do we just let him visit and then have him and R leave me and the new one alone in the hospital? Do we let Tide stay with R's Mom all weekend then all go home together?
We still haven't decided on a name. With Tide we didn't know until we named him, but we both really liked Tide. This time, we are seriously undecided.
At least my vehicle is scrubbed inside and out. The house is almost the same. SO come on baby!
